Great wee Hotel , excellent rooms with TV and tea and coffee making facilities, very comfortable bed .Excellent restaurant and bar and very friendly staff . Would highly recommend this Hotel if you're looking for value for money
Booked a budget price hotel for 1 night so didn't expect much, as long as somewhere is clean I don't mind. The rooms are very spacious as is the bathroom and were spotless. The rooms and the hotel in general are very tired looking and with a makeover in this location could be something spectacular as so much room in dining/public areas. Didn't have dinner but breakfast was good, plenty of choice and decent enough food.
Very good and clean hotel. The rooms were average in size but featured new & spotless bathrooms. I checked in very late around midnight — I had informed them in advance, and they arranged for the room to be unlocked with the key left inside. Convenient location with ample parking available. Great value hotel for that location. 3 rooms booked by us for 14th April'2025.
A brilliant hotel. Very good value, warm, cosy,clean rooms. Easy parking and access. Reception and breakfast waiting staff were all friendly and professional. Just off a main route. The town is small but interesting with fantastic surrounding countryside. Dogs allowed and for free. Thank you.

Staff here are second to non, they're fantastic, very attentive very helpful, hotel is in a great location lots around the area for people to see and do, more so in a vehicle, rooms are very comfy and kept extremely clean, little bits look worn in certain areas, but overall lovely, the food was good and the bar has a very good selection, they are a bit pricey however. Thank you very much for looking after us.
Really comfortable stay. Great value winter 2 night bed and breakfast deal, close enough for a bit of skiing at Cairngorm too! Welcoming staff. Bedroom very clean and everything working well.
This hotel was lovely and cosy, with beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the public areas. We, the carers group, had a christmas party night at this hotel and the organisers were really efficient and our meals were served piping hot and were delicious. Drinks a plenty and served by friendly staff. The music was very good and had us on the floor strutting our stuff within no time. Breakfast was served again piping hot and delicious. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Newtonmore. Thank you all at the Highland Park Hotel for a fabulous night.
Excellent Christmas stay. Staff were friendly and attentive.x. we had a marvellous Christmas. Pipers and Santa Claus Tractor Parade. Very acceptable gifts from hotel themselves. Good food, plenty of it. ENTERTAINMENT Pantomime visit. Evening entertainers all good. Even though the last entertainer was ill with flu the staff rallied around and organised a disco at the last minute. Well done to everyone concerned with our stay.
